I guarantee this will get some people here hating me. Before you fire off a cranky comment, let me explain. I am NOT a racist! I just don't like the huge problem of illegal immigration in the U.S. -- and much of that illegal immigration is done by stuffing as many people as possible into vans. This pokes fun at that by making it a sport.

I got the idea from a friend who said that Mexicans can stuff a car like nobody else. It's a stereotype, I know, but for some it is true. So get over it.

But you don't know how many people guatemalans can put in a motorcycle.

Most stereotypes are rooted in truth. Mexicans around here can fit about 8 people in a dinky little Toyota Carolla.

Actually, when we used to go to mexico on vacation we usually stuff up to eleven people in a van and go to many locations. Saves gas.

"They only had five Ford Rancheros!" :D

I like that sight; also gives a huge amount of info regarding various franchises.

I take the point of it as a political cartoon. It makes a valid point, and there WILL be people offended by it. I do find it funny, I just know that haters are EVERYWHERE.

i saw a skit/film making a joke like this, the police show up and and the people start piling out of the car, then run past the camera, and get back in on the other side. so they have a pickup truck with a minute worth of people coming out one after the other.

Commuter trains in Japan LAUGH at your puny Mexican vans and Zimbabwean buses. In the train stations there, there's one guy that, as part of his job, crams as many people as he can onto a train.

Watch the train-stuffing here: [link]

It's not racist. But it does explain what the future of the Valley Metro (Phoenix) Mass Transit System will look like given the Service Reductions.

The human mind is designed to compartmentalize people into groups, this is very easily done for groups of people who are physically distinct from your own, and it's done because way back in the hayday of our evolution the ability to quickly guess how a random stranger will act and react is very important for either surviving a threatening situation or making the best out of a friendly encounter.

Being Dutch I've been the subject of many a gay joke and drugs related joke from my friends and others, but generally it's just meant in good humor and there's hardly ever a hurtfull intent. People who have a problem with that really should get their heads out of their asses and see that people are just being people.

Last year I was crossing the border from Canada to the US in order to attend MFF ( Long story, great con ) and while our car was being searched we were asked a couple of questions, the moment I mentioned I was dutch the guy asked me with a perfectly straight face "Have you ever used or sold marihuana?" later on that really cracked me up, at the time it was honestly quite intimidating.

Reminds me of that video I saw a while back of a bunch of (I think it was Chinese) people trying to break a world record by cramming themselves into a bus. XD

I was born and raised in Alpine, ca, about 30 mi from the border. We used to see this all the time, then the "coyotes" started going against traffic in an attempt to elude.....
We would tow in the mangled vehicles afterward.
It's tragic when MOST of those people just want a better life, it's too bad they can't find a legal way to do it.

I'm mexican and I can proudly say that we DO stuff cars XD

And I don't take it as an offence actually, it's kind of... weird and funny that we're known for stuffing cars (besides the chile/taco/tortilla/burrito-thing, which is really annoying and sad). I can say that I could stuff a 5-passenger car with 12 friends.

Anyways... Nice drawing man, it made me laugh... I'll fave it XD

Okay I am Hispanic, and I still get a good laugh out of that.
I didn't offend you, did I? I ask that because I get a lot of feedback from people who see that pic in real life, and often the first thing they say is that it's racist. Ironically, it seems like the only people who are offended by it in any way are white. I'm not racist; I was just making a joke here. Glad you saw it for what it is.

Go to and look up "Political Correctness Gone Mad". 90% of the time, the people the PC types are trying to protect don't actually care.

No, just stating my race. I don't find the truth racist at all.

You've never seen commuter omnibuses in Zimbabwe.

The driver of a Toyota HiJet (Max cap. 8 people) was taken to court for having 22 passengers in his minibus. All of the "passengers" were present, and all swore blindly that you could not fit every single person in the van.
The judge threw the case out of court for this reason.
The driver and all of the people then walked out of the court room, got into the omnibus, and drove off, to the amazement of the judge!!!
