My name's Fox. Fox Tayle. I'm a fox – or at least I was one. I don't know the details but I know that I wasn't born this way. They made me like this. Now I'm sure you're wondering who "they" are. "They" refers to a corporation. A big one. One which has connections and a really high-tech science lab. I think they're some kind of defense contractor; I was one of their experiments.
I wasn't supposed to tell you this, because I wasn't supposed to get out. But I did. The company was working on a government-sponsored program to create a new kind of soldier. I know that sounds like a bad movie but they really do this kind of thing. Back to the point. They tried to make a new kind of soldier – one who was as quick and intelligent and capable as a human but better in some areas. Like more cunning and more fierce.
